This is a neat little toy for the holidays. Even though it does not provide high quality video, it is a lot of fun to use and is perfect for shooting video when you don't want be noticed. I let my kids play with it and they were entranced.

There's no optical zoom, the maximum resolution for video is 320x240, half of a normal video camcorder. However, for still images, you can capture 2040x1536 pixel resolution, pretty good for an inexpensive still camera. Once you fill up the memory, you can transfer the video to a VCR via the included video cables, or you can transfer the video and stills, via USB and the bundled software, to your computer.
