Guttenberg, NJ November 8, 2005 -- The Horror Channel (THC),
the leading broadband content provider of horror, terror and
suspense programming, announced today that it will host an
online streaming video and simultaneous live web chat at
www.horrorchannel.com beginning at midnight Eastern Time on
Friday, November 11th (9:00 pm Pacific Time).
Fans logging on to the web channel at
www.horrorchannel.com will be treated to the feature film,
Night of the Living Dead. At any time during the film, fans may
participate in a live chat with actress Kyra Schon, who appeared
in the film 37 years ago as little Karen Cooper. The chat format
will allow fans to ask questions of Ms. Schon or connect with
other horror fans. Fans are invited to set up a free account
prior to this special event so they will have access to the live
chat.
"We are very excited about providing this unique opportunity for
horror fans to chat live with one of the stars of the film while
they view this horror classic," says John Giunti, co-founder and
CIO. "Our loyal fans are responsible for making The Horror
Channel the premiere online destination for horror content, so
it is natural that we would offer them this unique experience.
We anticipate a positive reaction, so we will most likely offer
this as a regular feature of our web channel's lineup."
The website offers the rabid horror fan a plethora of all things
horror, including: streaming and on demand movies and exclusive
video footage, contests, merchandise, T-shirts, advertising and
sponsorship opportunities, an event calendar that includes all
major horror festivities across the country, news headlines,
