Did you know that George Bush had three
daughters, not two as we have been told. And
worse than Cha-Cha Chaney's hidden away
girl, the missing Bush daughter is a rock
and roller. Check out Flora Bush's new music
video -
The Girl Left Behind." Not really good
music but a cool, creative video none the
less.

could be controlled by a couple turntables
and an audio mixer? Checkout
Spin, a
outstandingly conceived, written
and edited short film by Jamin Winins.
You
got to see this! According to Winins, "SPIN
was shot over two weekends and one afternoon
in June of 2005 for a total of about 35
rigorous hours of shooting. The shot list
was ambitious at over 200 shots, and our
original plan was to shoot it in two very
long days using the Sony HDV camera. We shot
SPIN just north of the central downtown
Denver area in a beautiful new area called
Riverfront Park, adjacent to the Platte
River. The location was ideal considering a
number of different events had to occur,
including the car crashing into the cyclist."
Check out this hilarious short animation
"Who
Let the Jews Out." This is a great little animation cut
to the song "Who Let the Dogs Out." And if you like that,
check out Dan
Meth's web page for a bunch of other comic animations.
Excellent.

Look over
there on the Internet, its Gorillaz!. Not a
bunch of big apes or terrorists, Gorillaz is
a virtual band who music videos feature hip
hop beats, cool cartoon characters and
cutting edge animation. Checkout

Some
video makers create movies to honor
great musicians of the past like The
Beatles, Bo Diddly, Beethoven - Todd
Washburn however, chose to create an
animated music video that celebrates
the 1986 pop-hit Everybody Have
Fun Tonight by the popular 80's
band Wang Chung. On the
Cutting Room Floor of Oblivion
is a humorous, strange, and fun
video that features bizarre imagery
and different styles of animation,
including: traditional animation,
stop motion animation, clay
animation, ASCII animation, and
computer animation. Try to figure
out how Todd did it.
Ready to rock out and dance? Created and
submitted by Isaac Klotz,
"Yep" is a very cool hip hop music video
with some truly exceptional cinematic
touches. We especially love the superimposed
animated sketch effects. Extremely cool.
Jessica Simpson's
"These Boots Were Made For Walking"
is a countrified
version of Nancy Sinatra's classic hit. I
must confess I like the old version better
but this music video LOOKS a lot better.
Check it out.
This is
brilliant and needs to be seen and shared.
Check out
US - A Patriotic Music Video by Chris
Valentine. What has happened to our country
since the 9-11 incident? Why has the United
States been transformed into a nation of
fear and derision? Check out this short
flick as well as some of other great and
though provoking online videos at Chris site
including the "AntiWar video" and the exceptional
Tsunami video piece,
"And Gaia Shuddered" that documents the
real tragedy behind the headlines of 2004's
natural disaster. Chris has assembled
footage from all over the world to paint a
video mosaic of what the cost in life really
was. Exceptional work.
"How
Sweet It Is" is a cool little music
video by Avery Stafford. It's mellow, cool and
sort of inspirational. No fancy camera
moves, animations or effects, just basic
video making and a nice song. Hosted at
Blastro.com
This has become a very
popular "viral" video, especially in
Europe. This spoof
video of pop song "Is This The
Way to Amarillo" filmed by
soldiers in Iraq caused chaos when
it crashed computers at RAF Strike
Command. Colleagues back in the UK
were so keen to view the four-minute
funny that the email server at RAF
High Wycombe in Naphill collapsed
under the weight of demand. But
Ministry of Defense chiefs played
down the level of disruption caused
by the 52-megabyte attachment,
refuting rumors it brought the
entire defense network to its
knees.A spokesman for the MoD told
the Free Press: "It's a bit of
morale-boosting fun and shows the
British Forces are able to keep
their chin up. All units have now
been asked by the MoD to stop
forwarding the file."
You can see it here.
AtomFilms and JibJab have teamed
up again for the exclusive
release of JibJab’s newest
cartoon, “Matzah!” The
hilarious hip-hop rap, written
and performed by Eric Schwartz (aka
Smooth-e), explores the Jewish
ritual of only being able to eat
Matzah during Passover. After a
world premiere on “The Tonight
Show with Jay Leno”, “Matzah!”
is now available
online. Passover
celebrates Moses and his people
surviving in the desert for
eight days on unleavened bread.
The animated hip-hop star of “Matzah!”
however, is less concerned with
tradition and more concerned
with the effects of unleavened
bread on his digestive system
and when he’ll be able to eat a
sandwich again.
If you
celebrate Passover or just simply enjoy
funny animations, you ought to check out
Matzo Man at the American Comedy
Network. Turn it up loud and sing along.

Music Video Online - Music Video Premieres - One
of rock ‘n’ roll’s hardest working bands, The Goo Goo Dolls

John Rzeznik and crew recently shot a music video for the

Buffalo, NY recording the follow-up to their 2002 gold album
Gutterflower. In October 2005 fans were given a
taste of the album with the first single, “Better Days” that
peaked at number three on Billboard’s Adult Top 40 chart.
The Goo Goo Dolls recently wrapped rehearsals and will soon
announce a spring tour.

Anything. Basically video clips inserted
over an audio soundtrack, this is a great
demonstration that shows you don't need
expensive editing or a fancy studio shoot to
create a cool looking video. Of course, it
helps that the song is a well produced and
catchy little pop rock ditty...
